Extremely pale onion skin. Nervy and focused on the nose, displaying fresh citrus fruit and red berry aromas and subtle floral, spice and mineral top notes. Dry and tightly wound, offering tangy pomegranate, red currant and orange zest flavors and a spicy jolt of white pepper. Finishes long and silky, with a repeating orange note and strong, spicy cut.
The fire-impacted 2020 vintage led founder Doug Tunnell to declassify all the fruit and create this blend, which includes a significant portion of 2019 juice. The winner here is you, the consumer. Delicious blackberry fruit, hints of coffee and chocolate, smooth tannins and a lush mouthfeel make this immediately enjoyable.
The NV House Red Pinot Noir has a medium ruby color and savory aromas of red and black berries, smoked meats, cranberry sauce and dark spices. The palate has concentrated, earthy fruits with decent length and a touch of chew.
The NV House Red Gamay Noir has a medium ruby-purple color and concentrated aromas of cranberry sauce, blood orange, dark spices and potpourri. Medium-bodied, it has concentrated, layered flavors and a gentle rusticity to the tannins.
A pale copper-colored rosé with aromas of grapefruit zest, kumquat, dried herbs and stones. It’s light-to medium-bodied with bright, tangy acidity. Excellent freshness and balance.
This is the first iteration of an "intentional" rosé from Brick House. Harvested before the smoke hit, the 2020 Intentional Rosé of Pinot Noir has a pale onion skin color and a soft melon, red berries and garrigue perfume with touches of lemon peel. The palate offers pleasing fruit concentration and refreshing acidity, finishing long and textural.
